Back with another mask review and it’s on a mask that I’ve been holding off using until I could really put it to the test.

The Miss O Makeup Facial Mask has it’s basic function in its name: a makeup base mask. I’ve seen a few of these before (and used a couple) and this mask was perfect.

I purchased this mask from Beautibi and the package right off the bat made me fall in love. It’s incredible cute and just makes you want to admire instead of use it. The company, Unitouch, is a Taiwanese company that prides itself on using 100% natural essential plant oils in their products, making it safe for the skin to combat every day problems it may face. Miss O Oh la la series is just one of the brands under the company with the motto “Do not fear risks, sometimes close one eye, sometimes close them both. Let the life be calm and relaxing”. If you notice in the mask series, all the masks either have one eye closed or both.

I only purchased the Makeup Facial mask from Beautibi but I plan on purchasing others in the series when the time comes. The mask is a makeup base mask that you put on as a primer mask before applying your makeup.

The mask has no fragrance with a clear essence that soaked a thin cotton sheet mask. The mask has two layers, one layer to keep the mask straight as you apply it. The mask was easy to apply for me and adhered to my face well.

I kept the mask on for 15 minutes and afterwards, patted in the remaining essence. My face looked great! LOL! I appeared as if I did apply primer to my face which is what I was hoping for. My skin felt smooth and just refreshed afterwards. It didn’t feel heavy or like I had product on my face.

The mask packaging, which is once again so cute, states to immediately apply your makeup after the mask but one cannot forget to moisturize and add sunscreen before going out. My sunscreen applied very smoothly as did my foundation. I usually do two layers of my Revlon Colorstay foundation for a full coverage look but I only had to do one layer my makeup looked great, IMO.

I went through my day and my makeup faded which was okay. I can say that I didn’t have any adverse effect from the mask. My skin didn’t reject it or cause me to break out later and really this kind of mask makes it easier to not layer so much on during the summer.

I would recommend this for the makeup lovers or those who just want a simple makeup routine. Not much workup with this base and it makes it easy on the skin to nourish and prime.

You can purchase the mask from Unitouch’s website or BeautiBi’s site.

Until next post,

XO
