Doing something different this month. I will have a regular empties post later but since I dipped into my samples, I decided to go over them and tell you how they were.

Going to break this down in how I do my routine, so first up is the cleanser. I only used one cleanser sample and that was the Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser.  A cleanser that I’ve seen great reviews on especially for those with dry skin. I got this cleanser and all the Corsx samples in a #Friendmail from Vicki (@Foodie_looks on IG). This was nice cleanser that took off the oil cleanser and the last of my makeup. It didn’t dry out my skin. Unlike the salicylic cleanser that I have, this one didn’t have a strong scent and didn’t make my skin act all wonky. I was able to use the sample only once but it did a great job.  A nice simple cleanser that I really need. I’ll look into getting this cleanser after I use up my others.

After the cleanser, we move to the exfoliating stage. I had two peeling gels that worked well.  I first used the Holika Holika Smooth Egg Skin Peeling Gel. I don’t know if it was because I hadn’t exfoliated in some days but the product peeled a lot more than other peeling gels that I used. My skin felt soft afterwards and not dried out. No squeaky clean feel either. I was used to actually feeling and kind of hearing the squeaky clean but that was too much. This peeling gel didn’t have that and neither did the other one. I got one use out of that sample before I went to the other one.

I used the Tony Moly Floria Brightening Peeling Gel and fell in love. My skin felt soft, no squeaky clean feel, and my skin definitely looked brighter.  This product, like the other sample, peeled a lot more than other peeling gels that I’ve used. I don’t know if the product was balls easily or I has a lot of dead skin and gunk on my face. I was able to get two uses out of this sample and out of the two, I would choose the Tony Moly to purchase the full size.

I only had one essence and it was the Cosrx Galactomyces 95 Whitening Essence. A great FTE and would definitely purchase as such. I haven’t tried any FTE with galactomyces until this (Saccharomyces is in my current ferments) and my skin really enjoyed it.

If you saw from the list on my IG, the list was majorly moisturizers. So many creams and they were all great. No adverse reactions, no freak outs on my skin (beside those from stress and just not being able to really do my routine proper). I could go over all of them but my favorites were Belif Aqua Bomb, Belif Peat Miracle Revital Cream, Dear by Enprani Tone Up Cheese Cream, & L’Occitane Divine Cream. These four creams are on the list to be purchased full size (if I can find them & afford them). Belif is such a great brand for dry skin peeps and these are such great products. I was worried about the Enprani but after using it as a night cream and waking in the morning, my skin was soft and moisturized. I have two more foils of the Divine Cream and I don’t wanna use them because I don’t want to use them up. It’s such a beautiful cream and is truly divine.

I have a new sunscreen to purchase and it’s sitting in cart. It will be purchased. It’s the Cosrx Aloe Soothing Sun Cream SPF 50. I really would love a physical sunscreen but the Korean physical sunscreens are doing great for my skin. I’m almost out of my Tony Moly one and I need this one. It’s moisturizing, lightweight, and really soothing. My skin loved this sunscreen. I was able to get two uses out of this sample and after the first time, I knew I needed it in my stash and in my routine.

Last up are the sleeping masks and they are Cosrx (hahaha!). I had three (one was a TonyMoly, which was a good one) but out of the three, I have a favorite. Can you guess which one? I’ve heard great things about the Cosrx Ultimate Nourishing Honey Overnight Mask but I didn’t see much difference of moisture as I did with the Cosrx Ultimate Moisturizing Rice Overnight Mask. So moisturizing and the morning after, even with rinsing it off, my skin remained moisturized, soft, and ready for the day. If I had to choose, I would choose the rice mask. Plus, rice is one of my favorite ingredients in skincare.

Have you tried any of these? Do you have any of these? Any questions or comments, leave them below or on my IG.

Until next post,

XOXO
