Sunscreen is a needed step in anyone’s routine. The sun takes no prisoners and it’s always important to wear sunscreen. Even for someone with more melanin like me. Speaking of melanin, it’s a little difficult to find just the right kind that doesn’t leave the dreaded white/gray cast like you find with physical sunscreens. That is why chemical sunscreens are always picked and why not use one that helps your skin?
I picked up this deluxe sample from Sephora of SuperGoop! Broad spectrum SPF in an order just to try out and after one use, it became a favorite.
This broad spectrum, meaning it battles UVB and UVA rays from the sun, sunscreen is not only water-resistant sunscreen that helps nourish the skin but with “antioxidant-rich Cellular Response Technology”, it protects against UVB, UVA, IRA (Infrared A) rays along with providing moisture against the dehydrating sun.

The sunscreen is a “chemical sunscreen” meaning it doesn’t contain titanium oxide or zinc oxide, the two ingredients that reflect the sun, but rather contacts Avobenzone, Octisalate, Octinoxate, and Homosalate for the broad-spectrum protection.
To me, the product has a licorice scent that was nice but with no added fragrance, the added rosewood, orange, lemon, eucalyptus and basil give a better option than the dreaded “sunscreen scent”. I got the item in April and finished the product this month (August). The 1 fl oz bottle lasted a good 5 months being used on my neck and face. A little went a long way being spread about.
It was very moisturizing. I had to make sure to use a light moisturizer with this sunscreen or I would be an oily mess by the end of the day. The sunscreen absorbed very well and didn’t really have to worry about the humid weather down here in Louisiana washing away the product.
I’m recommending this sunscreen for those who are looking for a new sunscreen and don’t mind using chemical sunscreen or need it. I’m trying other sunscreens but this one is definitely in my Sephora Loves and is going to be repurchased.
You can get this sunscreen from Sephora in three sizes ranging in prices from $19 USD to $48 USD. Why not check out the whole brand on Sephora’s website or the SuperGoop! Site.
Until next post,
XOXO
