I used to go get pedicures twice a month but I had to budget and really, I don’t like people touching my feet. I was fighting the urge to squirm every time.
I’ve used an exfoliating foot mask before from Nature Republic and it did a really good job. It’s been months since that mask and had been looking for another mask to use. I wanted to use the cult favorite Baby Feet but $25 is a lot and not worth it.
While out of town, I did find a Baby Feet mask but it was still $25 and it was expired! I decied to stop into Marshalls and TJ Maxx to look up other things and came across the mask. I’ve never used the Jean Pierre brand before and hadn’t really heard of it, so I was a bit uneasy.
Want to know if it worked? Let’s go over how it was! Sorry, no peeling photos. My feet are ugly cleaned up or not.
The foot mask is a one size fits all. It wasn’t a struggle to put my size 10 foot in but I couldn’t put my feet up (I had to wait 90 minutes! I wanted to relax). The mask, a cellophane foot shape mask with an inner sock with a mixture of lactic acid and salicylic acid essence.

The first two weeks, I didn’t see any kind of peeling or any change. I was a little worried that I got a dud mask. It was $4.99, so it wasn’t a lost but I would still be upset. It wasn’t until week 3 that I saw the beginning of the peeling.

Now I’m a picker. I’ve reduced the picking on my face but other places I will still pick and really the peeling mask is so satisfying. Once the skin starting peeling and coming up, I fought the urge to “help” it along but I did peel a bit.
I did have some rough patches on my feet that I didn’t think would be hit but over the four weeks, my feet became smooth and are still nice. Just need a little lotion.
That’s another thing. I did use lotion while they were peeling. I don’t know if I was supposed to not but it helped, I believe.
Now a month since using, I can say that this mask totally worked and I would recommend and repurchase….if I could find it again. I haven’t seen the mask at any other Marshall’s and I don’t think the company makes the mask anymore. Now I’m looking for another foot mask to try out. If you have any suggestions, hit me up on my instagram!
Until next post,
XOXO
