Here again with another WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE post for you! WTD is basically me comparing two different mask who have either the same ingredients, benefits, or type. For the second post, we are doing TO-MA-TOS 🍅🍅🍅!
I actually tried these masks out last month, but I have all of my experiences typed up for this post ready for you. I picked the Holika Holika Juicy Mask Sheet and Scinic My Juicy Bottle Mask. Both are “Juicy” masks, so I just needed to do a WTD post.

Both masks were for firming cotton masks with tomato as their key ingredient. My process for testing them was using them in the morning and making note of how they were and how my skin was afterwards. Let’s dive right in.
First up is the Holika Holika Juicy Mask Sheet. I picked this mask up at Marshall’s and it’s one of my first tomato masks. The mask has a normal thickness, not to thick or thin. The essence is clear and contains many of fruit extracts (lime, kiwi, and strawberry) along with the ultimate fruit, tomato.

These extracts give the mask a sweet fruity scent. I kept the mask on for 20 minutes and it stayed on fairly well. After taking it off my skin felt the same, not extreme firmness effect. My skin felt clean and hydrated. No stickiness from the essence after patting it in and my skin felt and looked fresh without makeup all day. I really liked this mask would definitely repurchase it.
Second mask was the Scinic My Juicy Bottle Mask which came in such a cool packaging. Opening it was like opening an actual bottle, tearing off the top. The actual mask, like the Holika Holika, is cotton and it felt thick but wasn’t really. The essence was clear and has a very different scent.

The essence for this mask was slightly perfume with ginseng, royal jelly, honey, and pomegranate extract along with collagen extract. The mask felt more like a firming mask than the Holika Holika. I kept the mask on for 20 minutes also and there was a slight stickiness and my face did feel a bit firm after the essence was absorbed. My skin felt clean but not as moisturized as the Holika Holika mask.
Final result: Both masks were good for moisturizing my skin, but if I really want a firming mask, I would lean more towards the Scinic Juicy Mask. The Holika Holika was more for brightening with the fruit extracts.
Have you tried either of these masks or masks from these lines? Let me know!
Until next posts,
XOXO
