*sighs* I purchased this toner about 6 months ago and I really liked it in the beginning and I want to continue to love it.

It’s a gel-cream type of toner that absorbed well and is very hydrating. This bottle actually has about ⅓ left but I noticed something about two months ago.

I have sensitive skin in the way that my skin reacts to items immediately and it takes my skin some time to bounce back. I will immediately start forming cystic acne on my face in the area that product is applied. If I’m using multiple things, it becomes a process of elimination. Which is how I found out this toner was the recent culprit.

Like I said, I bought this toner at CVS about 6 months ago and started using it about a month after it. It was going well but I did see a breakout and just blamed hormones and other products. It wasn’t until I started using the Dr. Wu Repairing Serum and I had bad texture problems and acne. I didn’t want it to be the serum, so I stopped any other products besides cleansers, toners, and moisturizers. After my skin was clear, I started adding the serum back and nothing happened. I using my sunscreen again (I’ve had sunscreens that did it too), nothing. Process of elimination - the toner was the culprit.

It’s been about two months since I’ve stopped using it and my skin has doing great and looking great. Which is why I’m upset. I wanted this toner to work and I wanted to love it. I would say this is a great moisturizing toner, but for my skin, it’s a no go.

I love Frudia’s masks and will continue to buy them and use them, but this toner will be leaving my stash and hopefully someone else loves it.

Until next post,

XOXO
