Beauty Subscription - Target January 2018 “Best of Boots Beauty” Box

Target’s Beauty Box is a monthly beauty box that isn’t subscription based that offers a number of beauty items found at Target for an average of $7/box that includes a $3 off coupon with each box.

This month, there were two different boxes - the regular Beauty Box and a “Boots Beauty Box”. I picked up the Boots Beauty Box. For those who don’t know, Boots is UK based pharmacy liken to that of Walgreens in the US. Many of the brands in this box can be found at Walgreens as well as Target. I picked this box because of the palette and the brands in general. Also, this box offers a $5 off $20 coupon of the products from the brands in this box.

Soap & Glory Pillow Plump Lip Gloss in Pink Well - Now I have some plump lips. My coworker has told me a few times I have pretty lips (not in a sexual way! Don’t worry!), so I’ve not really dived into any kind of plumping items. Since I got this in the box, I had to try it out. The tingling is there but really it’s like eating something spicy with out the delicious food or delicious spice. I didn’t see a significant plumping but I did like the gloss.

Soap & Glory Righteous Butter Body Butter - I’ve had an eye cream and body wash from Soap & Glory. It’s a good brand. This body butter has the distinct S&G scent. I can’t describe it but when I smell it, I know that it’s a Soap & Glory product. Using it on my hands, it’s okay but since it’s so cold right now, I can really put it to the test.

Sleek MakeUP 12 pan Eyeshadow Palette - The main reason for me getting this box. I’ve been wanting to try Sleek since it came to Ulta and to be able to get a palette in this box was awesome. Not a full size, I still believe I can work with the pans. See below for a look a the palette and swatches.

No.7 Airbrush Away Primer - I haven’t really been wearing primers now a day. My Nars foundation doesn’t move until the very end of the day when I’m at home. I don’t know if I’ll use this one or just give it away.

No.7 Restore & Renew Serum - I’ve not tried anything from No.7 but I have been eyeing the products. This serum contains calcium, amino acids, & ceramides that is suitable for all skin types. Let’s hope it works for me and if so I might get it.

Botanics Shine Away Ionic Clay Mask - I might not do charcoal masks but clay masks have been very good to me. This mask has clay and willow bark to help clear the skin. It’ll be interesting to use.

The other Target Box, which was also $7, contains the brands you will find at Target and wasn’t really appealing to me. I believe I will get good use out of the products in this box and can’t wait to tell my full experience later. If you want to get the Target Box, keep a lookout at the beginning of the month for them as they sell out quickly.
