Beauty Subscription - Sephora January 2018

Play! By Sephora is a month beauty subscription box that offers product samples found at Sephora for $10/month. This is the beginning of my third year with this subscription.

Alterna Haircare CAVIAR Anti-Aging Replenishing Moisture Shampoo & Conditioner - I actually had this in my Loves on Sephora for about two years before I just decided to just move on. I don’t remember who recommended it but I really want to check it out. It’s infused with pure caviar extract to help fight against aging hair and stress. Sephora says that it’s for straight, wavy, and curly hair. I’ll have to look at coily hair.

Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream - I received this exact eye cream in a Sephora Play! Box in April 2016. It was okay. It did help add moisture under my eyes, but it wasn’t outstanding.

Lancome CILS BOOSTER XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base - I said I could use all the products, and I could, but I probably won’t use this. I’ve tried mascara bases before and it’s too much hassle and I don’t like layering so much product on my lashes. I’ll more than likely give this away. Nothing against the product, just not something I would use.

Fresh Beauty Rose Floral Toner - I was so excited to get this product. I did confuse it with the Rose Deep Hydration Toner (with the rose petals) but this has rosewater in it which I love, so still excited. I’m happy to see Fresh go into skincare. I love the lip treatments.

Smashbox Cosmetics Photo Finish Primerizer - I use Nars Sheer Glow foundation and I don’t usually have to wear a primer with it but it’s good to have one for when the summer comes into play. This will be a great hydrating primer to try out.

GlamGlow SUPERCLEANSE Clearing Cream-to-Foam Cleanser - I was not excited to get a GlamGlow product in this box until I saw that it was this cleanser. This is supposed to be a really good cleanser for all skin types. Not excited about the price but all the good things that people have said about this cleanser makes me excited to try.

This month was a great start to a new year. Let’s hope to see new products to try out and I’m still hoping for my all Kbeauty/Asian Beauty box from Sephora. IT NEEDS TO HAPPEN!
