#XOReview - Col-Lab Makeup

So this is a reminder to myself to re-new my Sally’s Beauty membership and to get more of this brand.

This is a new brand available at Sally’s Beauty and it’s called Col-Lab. “A revolutionary new makeup line that offers high-performance color artistry with cutting-edge textures and finishes”. The line offers makeup that top of the line with no disappointment.

The name is a combination of Color + Collaboration = Col-Lab!

I’ve only picked up three items but until the 31st of January, they and Sally’s Beauty are offering 20% off everything. So look out for that. Now for what I picked up.

I picked up a liquid lipstick, an eyebrow pencil, and a white eyeliner

Matte Addiction Liquid Lip Color in Kink - I’m a rose-nude color girl and it’s evident in all of my lippies. I picked this up to test the formula. It’s very lightweight and doesn’t feel drying. Very comfortable.

I got it in the color Kink - I didn’t look at the names when I picked up and the names are very...R rated-ish (Out of Breath, Blindfold, Boy Toy can be not so innocent). Kink is a brown nude color and funny enough it is a liquid dupe of a Sonia Kashuk lip pencil that I already have. So basically if need a liquid lip version

, this is it. I do get full color and very comfortable.

Ink Addict Liner Pen in Crave - I picked this up to try and do an eye look but I can’t get white liners to work for me. I don’t know how to not get the liner not to mess up or bleed. Someone help me!

I do like how easy it was to use. Most people have a certain kind of liquid liner they like to use. I do like the brush tip but felt tips, like this one, are easier to use. This one, since it’s white, wasn’t as opaque as I would like but it does dry down quickly and does not move. It dries down matte and is just a nice liner. The names are just as unique the lippies (Werk, Passion, Illicit, Fierce are the others). I need to try the black liner to see if I really love it.

Shape & Shade Brow Pencil in Rich Brown - I’m almost out of my ABH Brow Wiz and I know I’m not going to repurchase it (I have the dupe which is the Sephora brow pencil) but I wanted to try out a new one. In comes Col-lab and this is a good pencil.

It comes with a spoolie and the pencil is actually shaped into a triangle similar to ABH Brow Definer. This is basically a dupe for it. Col-lab does have a dupe for the Brow Wiz which I will test out.

This pencil is very easy to use and does fill in my brows. I’m more used to the thin pencil but this triangle tip is very easy and fills in the brows very quickly. I got the darkest color which is Rich Brown and I love it. If you do wear black brows, they don’t have the shade on the site but might in store. I don’t know if this will be a repurchase but I do use it every other day as I use up the last of my Brow Wiz.
