Disclosure: I received this product free from Influenster.
I was surprised when I saw the email from Influenster about the BareMinerals foundation and was doubly surprised to see that I was getting a free custom foundation!
If you didn’t know, BareMinerals creates custom foundations, Made-2-Fit, that as easy as 1-2-3. First, you download the Made-2-Fit app. Second, you follow the steps to get your custom foundation which take just a few minutes. Third, place your order and get your shade in your mail!
Like I said, I received this foundation free but if I would like, I can re-order this exact shade for $50 USD. This is about the same you would pay for any prestige makeup brand or another BareMinerals foundation.

The foundation comes in a solid glass bottle with 30ml (1 oz) of product that comes with a pump which is always a must.
Foundation only --->
Made-2-Fit is a sheer-to-medium coverage foundation with green tea extract, vitamin E, ceramide, chamomile, and white lily flower to give a youthful look. The foundation also has zinc oxide and titanium dioxide which is usually the spf that is found in BareMinerals foundations. I’ve had trouble with these elements in physical sunscreens but no bad effect as of this review from the foundation. Of course, I will still use my sunscreen under this foundation when going out but for this review (since I’m not going anywhere) I didn’t apply it.
I love that it’s a sheer foundation, which is why I love the Nars Sheer Glow.
Compared to the two other foundations in my collection (NARS Sheer Glow in New Guinea and Revlon ColorStay Foundation for Dry in Cappuccino) , it looks a bit darker in a swatch but does match once I apply it.

(L to R: Revlon, BareMinerals, Nars)
To test it out, I just did a nice simple look. First, I applied the foundation like normally, dotting it on my face. The consistency is similar to the Revlon, thinner than Nars. I then spread it with my brush on the left side and a sponge on the right. It blended out fairly well. In the end, it gave me the fresh face that it promised. A dewy glow and an almost natural look.
I did a simple look using my Makeup Forever Lustrous palette and Wet n Wild Catsuit Matte Lipstick in Goth Topic.

In the end, I really like this foundation. It’s a perfect match and is lightweight. I would consider repurchasing it but for now, I’ll use only on special occasions. It’s awesome that you don’t have to spend an arm and a leg to get a custom shade and it works!
Thanks to Influenster again for allowing me to get this foundation.
Until next post,
XOXO
