It’s that time again! Another “What’s the Difference” comparison! WTD is basically me comparing two different mask who have either the same ingredients, benefits, or type. The third post in this serious is the sweet honey masks!

The competitors are the Holika Holika Juicy Mask Sheet and the Papa Recipe Bombee Honey Mask and the difference is major! Both masks are nourishing sheet masks with the key ingredient of honey/propolis extract🍯🍯🍯. I tested both as morning masks to see how they were throughout the day and now for the results. Let’s start with Holika Holika.
The Holika Holika Juicy Mask Sheet Honey was picked up from Marshall’s for $0.99USD and was just a simple cotton mask for daily use. As soon as I opened the package, the scent of honey hit me. It’s a sweet calming scent that was nice and stuck around as I kept the mask on. The mask was a nice fit, fitting around my mouth and not tight around my nose or eyes. I kept the mask on for 15 minutes (directions say for 15-25 minutes). My face felt hydrated and a bit sticky afterwards. The clear essence absorbed well and my face took the application of makeup well. I really enjoyed this mask especially since it smelled like honey.
Holika Holika is going up against a favorite of a lot of people: Papa Recipe Bombee Honey Mask. I actually hoarded this mask, even when I had two of them. It’s such a good mask!
Like the Holika Holika, the mask is a cotton kind of mask with a clear essence soaked into the mask. This mask was slightly bigger and thinner than the Holika Holika. The mask has a faint scent of honey, not as strong as the Holika Holika but noticeable. I keep the mask on for 20 minutes. No stickiness after removal but my skin was very much hydrated.
Final results: Both masks are hydrating and nourishing. I enjoyed both and neither one was a disappointment. The packages alone, I would pick the Bombee mask because it’s such a nice package but either one would be a great pick.
Have you tried either one or any from either line? Let me know!
