Marketed as “white gold” (really???), donkey milk has vitamin c, aha, and soothing properties that make it a great ingredient for skincare. A popular ingredient in kbeauty, donkey milk can be found in moisturizers, soap, and masks. Of the SooAe masks, I loved the results from the Donkey Milk Skin Gel Mask and Sleeping Mask.

Donkey Milk Skin Gel Mask

SooAe Donkey Milk Skin Gel mask is a gel-like mask. Though I like the results of the mask, the mask was a terrible fit. Out the package, the mask had a strong floral sweet scent that disappeared after application.

The mask is a fabric mask soaked in a gel-like essence, but the eye and mouth holes were a bit too small and the fabric of the mask was too stiff.

The essence is watery and almost clear. It didn’t feel sticky out of the package and was soaked into the mask. The essence contains, besides donkey milk, green tea extract, salmon egg extract, niacinamide, and sugar maple extract.

I kept the mask on for 15 minutes. The essence absorbed fairly well when patted in the skin and left my face slightly sticky. The stickiness faded after continuing my routine and my skin looked brighter and hydrated after. Like I said, the mask was a bad fit but the results make it a good one.

Donkey milk sleeping mask

I'm still slowly getting into using sleeping masks. The main reason - I have a terrible problem of not washing my face in the morning. I know! I should but, I'm too lazy. With sleeping masks, I have to - not because my skin makes me but because I don't want a reaction from not rinsing it off. So far I've been good.

I received this as a prize in a giveaway with the donkey milk gel mask and others. Out of all of them, the gel mask, charcoal black mask, and this sleeping mask are my favorites.

This sleeping mask, $2.50 USD at Walmart, comes in a 10g/0.35oz package. The mask is a cream that is similar to many moisturizers. The distinct scent to the cream mask which is a great thing.

The main ingredient is the “white gold” that is donkey’s milk along with shea butter, Japanese camellia, niacinamide, and coconut.

I used this product for a little over a week and every morning, my skin felt soft and hydrated. For a good inexpensive sleeping mask to try, I would recommend this one. It would well with dry skin, not too emollient for oily or combination skin, really a good sleeping mask for all.

Have you tried any other SooAe products or donkey milk products?

Until next post,

XOXO
