Beauty Subscription - Play!bySephora March 2018

Play! By Sephora is a monthly beauty subscription box that offers product samples found at Sephora for $10/month.

A new month and a new bag. This month is focused on festivals - Coachella, Lollapalooza, and so many more! Being from Louisiana, our major festivals are Jazz Fest and Essence Fest. One of the music capitals of the worlds holding two big music fests! I’m not a crowd person so I haven’t attended but one day, I’ll change that. Maybe with this bag, I can go.

This is probably the best bag so far this year (I know it’s only the third one) but I can actually use these products and there’s a new brand that I haven’t tried in my bag!

Ouai Anti Frizz Hair Sheet - This is actually the “bonus” product in the bag (usually reserved for fragrances). It’s what it says it is - an anti-frizz hair sheet that you can smooth over your hair to knock out the frizz and smooth it over. I do get frizz in my coily hair, so this will be interesting to see how this works, especially if I do a blowout again.

Verb Ghost Oil - If the hair sheet doesn’t work, I have this ghost oil from Verb. I’ve used a couple of products from Verb and my hair hasn’t gone crazy which is good! It’s lightweight and a nice oil serum to have on wash day

Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield Broad Spectrum SPF 30 PA+++ - I’ve used this before and can I say BEST S*** EVER! Like it’s silicone based sunscreen that protects and does blur the skin. I actually received this sample from Sephora when I first started to get the box and I loved it then. This would be a splurge purchase (1oz is $65) but it’s worth it for those who want protection and a flawless base.

Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick in Bohemian Purple - I love Sephora’s Lip Stain lipsticks. A smooth formula that’s comfortable and just full pigment. I have to hold off on just buying so many because I won’t wear them all but I would recommend them. This is such a beautiful purple (and you have to know I LOVE purple). Keep a look out for a look with this shade!

Sephora Collection Contour Eye Pencil 12hr Wear Waterproof in Love Affair - See previous comment - I love purple! This plum eyeliner will be so much fun to use and can definitely be used everyday. With color eyeliner being the thing this year, I need get more and use more in my life.

Youth To The People Age Prevention Superfood Cleanser - THIS IS IT! This is my first time getting and using a product from Youth to the People. I’ve had my eye one this cleanser for some time but just been too shy to pull the trigger. I’ve been needing a new cleanser so I can’t wait to try this. A kale based gel cleanser, this will be great for my dry skin and I hope for a refreshing feel after using it.

So excited to try all that’s in this month’s box. Keep a look out for my “festival look” makeup post on IG and I will continue to shout into the ether of Sephora that I want an AB Play box :)
