#XOReview - Perfectly Posh Heebie Jeebie Foot Peel Kit

A pedicure is a treat and I’ve used a good amount of foot peeling kits to have a good experience with them. I was expecting a lot with this kit but I got nothing.

I received the Perfectly Posh Heebie Jeebie Foot Peel Kit from my friend for my birthday. The kit is a single treatment with peeling gel, protective booties, and polka dot socks. It’s a simple kit that was supposed to give you the heebie jeebies with the peeling skin from the feet. I didn’t get that.

I start out with making sure my feet were clear of any dust or dirt before I tried to apply the peeling gel to my feet. I say try because, it wasn’t really a gel as it was a watery liquid.

The peeling agent comes in a squeeze bottle with a ridged application tip. The “gel” contains glycolic acid, lactic acid, along with a couple of fruit enzymes to make for a typical peel. I tried to apply the gel but it was just a watery mess that really was difficult to apply. It also had peppermint medicinal scent that wasn’t really strong.

Since it was a watery mess, I did have to apply the peeling agent with my hand which I was worried about at first. After application, I followed the directions and slipped on the pink booties and the cute polka dot socks and sat back to let it try and do it’s magic.

After an hour, I rinsed my feet in the shower and just waited for the magic. At the time of this post, it’s been 11 days. The package states that the peeling will begin between 3 to 7 days after initial application. I will say that my feet looked a bit smoother afterwards but the package says peeling, I WANT PEELING!

With all that being said, the only thing I got out of this was some cute black and white polka dot socks that I will enjoy in the winter.

This kit has been discontinued so no one else can be let down but I really need to get a foot peeling mask. I might go pick up the Tony Moly one.
