#XOReview - Benefit Precisely My Brow vs Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz

I like doing my makeup and really, I never really thought about my brows until in the recent years. A look can really come together with good brows. I weirdly have wild brows that actually keep shape. I pluck and shave at least once a month but they aren’t hard to manage. Which makes doing them easy.

I started with pomade and powder when I started doing my brows but it wasn’t until I looked into brow pencils that I found it a lot easier to use and harder to mess up. I used drug store brands at first and then, on a whim, I purchased the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz while it was on sale. I was taken by it. The color (dark brown) was perfect and my brows didn’t looked too draw but filled in.

I have brows but they could be filled in a bit.

The ABH Brow Wiz is a double ended pencil with a spoolie and a thin pencil that makes it easy to fill in. The pencil isn’t wax and can be quickly used. I’ve enjoyed it so much and used it up but because of the price ($21 USD) I just recently got a second one.

The packaging is slim, lightweight, and is easy to use to easily to fill in and draw your brows. It takes me about a minute to fill and do my brows which I absolutely love with this pencil. It’s creamy and looks great. The pencil will smudge is rubbed but my brows have lasted through the Louisiana humidity which is fine by me. A inexpensive version of the pencil that I’ve found that I like just as much is the Sephora brow pencil, but that’s not what is being compared right now. That goes to the Benefit Cosmetics Precisely My Brows.

I received the Benefit brow pencil for free from Influenster for honest review and as much as I don’t really use Benefit products, I’ve found this one really good. I’ve done a small review but let’s fully go into it.

The Precisely My Brow Pencil is a basic brow pencil that comes in 6 different shades. I was provided with shade 5 which is Deep (dark brown to black -warm). It’s the same shade as my ABH Brow Wiz. I was worried at first when I saw that I got 5 because I’ve tried Benefit’s Gimme Brow and shade 5 in that is too dark for me. It’s an ultra fine pencil, similar to the ABH Brow Wiz, with a spoolie. Unlike the slick package of ABH, Precisely My Brow has a unique silver packaging with a cone end and geometric end on the spoolie. It’s travel-friendly and really stands out but it doesn’t fit into my stash. It wasn’t waxy and blends well. It’s in the same price range as ABH ($24 USD). Really the only difference and factor in choosing between the two is which brand you support.

Benefit is a brand that has staple products that everyone knows while ABH does have staple products but they keep coming out with new things. I would get either one, IMO, but I like ABH and ultimately I would get the Sephora if I want an cheaper dupe. I have nothing bad to say since both pencils did their job and were used to the end. So in the end, I would pick up either on but really I would pick the Sephora brow pencil.

Until next post,

XOXO
