#WashOffWednesday - Ulta Beauty Avocado & Kale Nourishing Superfood Mud Mask

Superfoods in skincare has been a trend for a couple of years now with cleansers, toners, and mask with pre-biotic antioxidant foods such as blueberry, spinach, kale, and avocado. Tonight’s W.O.W is from Ulta and is a superfood mud mask.

This mud mask is like a many of mud masks that I’ve tried, creamy and thick. It was very easy to spread the green mask that smelled like avocado. The mask also contains honey, sage leaf, lavender, rosemary, and chamomile flower extract which helps dry and stressed skin.

I kept the mask on for 15 minutes though it started to dry around 5 minutes. If you have sensitive skin or very dry, I would probably just keep it until it dries which is about 5 minutes, instead of the full 15.

I don’t know about anyone else, but for me, I remove mud masks and most wash off mask with a warm wet towel instead of just splashing water on my face. It’s a lot less messier and it does the job. After removing this mask, my skin did feel a bit dry but not tight.

It’s a typical mud mask. A nice therapeutic mask to use once a week. I picked this mask up for $8 USD but you can usually get it on sale along with 3 mud masks or any of Ulta’s masks.
