#WashOffWednesday - Peter Thomas Roth Hungarian Thermal Water Mineral-Rich Atomic Heat Mask

I received this mask in my September Sephora Play! Box and I’ve been wanting to use it since. But since it’s a small sample tube, I lost it very quickly. I found it and used it for tonight’s W.O.W.

An anti-aging heat mask, this mask is unique and a nice change. The Hungarian Thermal Water helps to “nourish and hydrate the look of skin with vital nutrients”. The mask has a botanical blend of sunflower, evening primrose, peach, apricot, and other nourishing oils and extracts to help the skin while it heats.

Now this mask does not heat as it is applied. It becomes “activated” once you add cold water and massage it in. I applied the mask and kept it on for 3 minutes before I applied cold water. Sadly, the heat from the mask was only felt when I was massaging it, but not while it was sitting on my face.

The mask was easy to remove and once off, my skin didn’t feel dried out like it does when I use a clay or mud mask which I love about this mask. My skin felt soft and a bit hydrated which is a big difference from any other mask that I’ve used. I’m surprised how well this mask was and I can see myself using this mask again.

A nice simple mask - not really a major heating mask but a nice simple mask to nourish and moisturize the skin. You can pick the mask up from Sephora for $58 USD.
