#WashOffWednesday - Boscia Matcha Magic Super-Antioxidant Mask

This is my second time using this mask but first time doing an more in-depth review (if you consider my reviews in-depth ) . Tonight’s mask is the Boscia Matcha Magic Mask - a clay green tea mask that is said to help with the oiliness of the skin along with redness and inflammation.

The main ingredient in the mask, if not evident from the bright green tint that it has, is the green tea (Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract). Mind you, it’s not high on the ingredient list, but it’s in there. Also the green color comes from the addition of Chromium Oxide Greens - so that might be a negative if you wanna try this mask. The mask also has argan oil, sesame seed oil, willow bark, lavender, and jojoba extract to make the mask antioxidant rich and help the skin.

I applied the mask with my fingers. It’s very thick and has no scent. It’s very spa day like, a nice mask to use on a day or night you want to relax.

The mask dried down immediately, a bit tight but not painfully tight that it made it uncomfortable.

I kept the mask on for 17 minutes, since I have dry skin, and rinsed it off. Since it’s a clay mask, my skin was moving fast to the drying out phase since it pulled out oils from my skin. Because of this, I believe my skin did react because of no moisture which I will be counteracting with plenty of moisture.

The mask removed somewhat easily, getting stuck in my eyebrow but that’s usually how clay masks are.

In the end, I would definitely recommend this mask for those with oily skin for treatment and really help with inflammation for those with sensitive skin.

As much as I was excited to try this mask and liked it the first time, I won’t be using this mask and I won’t be purchasing this.
